FINDING PURPOSE THROUGH PAIN

 Beauty for ashes

Learn about finding purpose through pain, and getting beauty for ashes. Your pain has a purpose and it is important to know how to find the purpose of pain in life and God's purpose in your pain. You can move from pain to purpose; God has a purpose for your pain and He uses pain for good. Discover the purpose in your pain and know that God can bring beauty from ashes. God turns around what the enemy meant for evil and uses it for good.

"To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified" Isaiah 61:3.

PATIENCE

Patience Patience is among the most important virtues to have. It is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. Patience allows us to wait for God to work in our lives. However, waiting does not mean we do nothing; it means as we trust God for breakthrough, we do what He is directing us to do. It may not be what we would have wanted to do, it may go out of our plans, but if it is God's will, it will go in alignment with His Word. Patience is the ability to hold ourselves back, to not act out of our flesh. It is defined as "the state of endurance under difficult circumstances, which can mean persevering in the face of delay or provocation without acting on negative annoyance." It is a strong negative emotion of feeling unwanted, feeling like we are not understood, like the odd ones out, like others are better than us, like we are below others. Rejection makes us feel weird, unappreciated, criticized, and judged; it makes us feel as if nothing we do or say is ever good enough; it makes us feel as if we are not good enough or as if we do not matter. When rejected, we feel like outcasts. Rejection is defined as, "being excluded; cast off." It is a strong emotion, and when it happens, we start to feel unworthy. When under rejection, we may feel judged by others, talked about by others, avoided by people, laughed at, mistreated, abused - whether verbally, emotionally, physically, or financially; we may be taken advantage of and lied to. We may feel rejected by a school we had applied to, denied a certain job, secluded by fa...
