My story

I have been where you are; I know what it is like to be wounded greatly and to struggle with forgiving those deep hurts and wounds left in the heart by what people have done or said.

However, I made the decision that I will not remain stuck and I will not allow the past to define my present. I know how damaging it is for a person to dwell in the past; it keeps a person stuck and unable to move forward. It takes making a firm decision and choosing to move forward, and use the past as a learning place instead of making it a dwelling place.

My life changing moment occurred when I decided to develop personal walk with Jesus Christ; that really changed everything and my life took a completely new direction for the better. In God I got to know who I really am, and I got to learn the truth of His Word, and that set me free. By the power of the Holy Spirit, I was transformed completely from the inside out into a completely new person. I got the renewing that I really needed and got to experience the true healing power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Deep wounds were completely healed and I got to know true joy and peace that only comes from God.

You do not need to get stuck in the past, or in what people have done or said against you. Choose to let go and allow God to change you and transform you completely for the better. Do not allow unforgiveness, shame, regret, and bitterness to block you from becoming the woman that God desires you to be. Know the Truth and let that truth set you free. Rise above the storms of life and find rest for your soul in Jesus Christ.

PATIENCE

Patience Patience is among the most important virtues to have. It is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. Patience allows us to wait for God to work in our lives. However, waiting does not mean we do nothing; it means as we trust God for breakthrough, we do what He is directing us to do. It may not be what we would have wanted to do, it may go out of our plans, but if it is God's will, it will go in alignment with His Word. Patience is the ability to hold ourselves back, to not act out of our flesh. It is defined as "the state of endurance under difficult circumstances, which can mean persevering in the face of delay or provocation without acting on negative annoyance." FAITH

Faith Now faith is the assurance of what we hope for and the certainty of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1 Why is faith so important to a Christian? Because without faith we cannot please God. We have to believe that God is who He says He is. Faith means believing that what God says will come to pass. Faith enables us to believe that what we do not see will indeed happen. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who approaches Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. Hebrews 11:6. Matters of God require us to believe and rest on the Word of God. This goes against the matters of the world whereby people want what they can see, feel, and touch. That was one of the reasons in the Old Testament people made all sorts of images as idols. They wanted a god they could see. COUNT THE COST

Count The Cost Which of you, wishing to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost to see if he has the resources to complete it? Luke 14:28. Following Jesus Christ will cost us. We have to be willing to leave everything for the sake of the Gospel. We have to come to a place whereby we will choose God no matter how tempting the other options might be. Give God your all. It is worth it following Christ. What it costs to live for God is nothing compared to the reward that comes for those who remain faithful until the very end. We have to be willing to die to self, to say no to carnal fleshly desires, and reject the ways of the world. The choices we make have consequences; let us choose well. We are advised to always count the cost. Before doing or saying anything, we should first stop and reconsider the effect such will have on us and on others.
