FORGIVENESS

Forgiveness Then Jesus said, Father forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing. And they divided up His garments by casting lots. Luke 23:24. Forgiveness! Such a simple word but a difficult action to execute. Why do we find it difficult to forgive others? Because we cannot do it by our own strength, we need God. Our flesh/ carnal nature desires to hurt those who hurt us. So watch yourselves. If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times comes back to you saying 'I repent' you must forgive them. Luke 17:3-4. We are instructed to forgive just as the Lord has forgiven us. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. GOD HATES SIN

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil Sin is sin, and God hates sin; choose to stay away from sin. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. "If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that. All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death. 1 John 5:16-17. Sin is deadly and has severe consequences. Our Creator knows us and He gave us this instruction with full knowledge of the condition of human heart. This requires us to be sober because the world is full of chaos.
